Live departures are missing or stale

Pull down on the board to request the latest predictions. Check your internet connection, the TubeBoard data status page and whether TfL reports a line disruption. These are separate signals, and one empty board does not prove a line-wide outage. Compare with station information before travelling.

02

Nearby Station is not finding you

Open Settings, find TubeBoard, then allow Location While Using the App. Nearby matching happens on your device. You can always search by line and station without location access.

03

Live Activities

Allow Live Activities in iOS Settings and start one from an open board. Free users can try three sessions; Premium makes them unlimited. Dynamic Island requires a supported iPhone, while StandBy appears when a supported iPhone is charging on its side.

04

Widgets

Widgets require Premium. After upgrading, touch and hold the Home or Lock Screen, add a TubeBoard widget, choose a saved station and then choose one of its available platforms. Open TubeBoard once if a new favourite or platform has not appeared yet. If the widget reports that it is offline, reconnect and open TubeBoard to refresh its data; a successful empty response is shown separately as no current departures.

05

Time to Leave

Save a favourite, open its options and set the number of minutes you need to walk to the station. Time to Leave is a Premium feature and uses live predictions; always allow extra time when service is disrupted.

06

Premium disruption alerts

In a supported TubeBoard build, choose the lines you want under Settings, then allow notifications when iOS asks. Severe disruption alerts are the default, quiet hours run from 22:00 to 07:00, and service-resumed alerts are on; each can be changed. If alerts do not arrive, confirm Premium is active, notifications are allowed for TubeBoard and the selected line is enabled. Turning the feature off removes its server registration.

07

Restore or manage Premium

Use Restore Purchases in TubeBoard when a previous purchase is not recognised. Subscriptions can be viewed or cancelled in your Apple Account subscription settings. Monthly is £1.99, yearly is £9.99 with a 7-day trial, and lifetime is £24.99 at UK launch; App Store prices can vary by region.

08

Apple Watch

The companion Watch app requires Premium and a paired iPhone with TubeBoard installed. Open TubeBoard on iPhone after saving or reordering favourites so they can sync. Find Nearby on Watch uses one foreground location check and matches it on the device; check the Watch app's location permission if it cannot find you.

09

Apple Vision Pro

The native Apple Vision Pro app requires visionOS 26.0 or later. Boards and the map open in placeable windows, and Premium widgets can be added from the system widget gallery. If arrivals do not load, check the network connection and retry from the board.
